Yes. Many of our clients come to us with specific health goals tied to medical advice, including improving blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, or reducing body fat. We are not medical professionals and do not replace your healthcare team. What we do is build a coaching plan focused on the lifestyle, training, and nutrition habits that support those goals, always in collaboration with your doctors.
Can I train at Dynamis if I'm recovering from an injury or surgery?

Yes. We have extensive experience coaching clients post-injury and post-surgery. Our structural evaluation helps us understand your current limitations and movement patterns, and our biomechanics-led approach allows us to build training programs that work around your injury while supporting your recovery. We always coordinate with your physiotherapist or medical team to ensure your program is appropriate for your stage of recovery.
How do hormones affect fat loss and muscle gain?

Significantly. Hormones including testosterone, estrogen, cortisol, thyroid hormones, and insulin all influence body composition, energy levels, recovery, and motivation. Many people who struggle with results despite doing everything right have an underlying hormonal factor at play. Will I need to see a doctor or get blood work done?

Not necessarily to start. We gather a comprehensive health history during your initial evaluation and intake consultation. For clients with specific health conditions or who want deeper insight into their hormonal and metabolic markers, we can help guide you on which conversations to have with your GP or specialist. We do not prescribe, diagnose, or replace medical care in any way. We work alongside it to ensure your training and lifestyle habits are supporting the goals your medical team has set for you.
